A sweet, viral video recently made rounds online because of a young man who professed his love. On the video, it can be seen that the boy named Jomar was holding the microphone while he said his sentiments about Andrea, the debutante. Jomar started his speech by reminding her that they’ve been best friends for a long time. Then everybody went crazy when he said that there is a question he’s been waiting to ask Andrea.

The young man revealed that he was waiting for Andrea to turn 18 before asking it. However, he wanted to ask the permission of Andrea’s parents first. Jomar turned to them and said:

“Payag na po ba kayo maging kami po ni Andrea?”

The emcee of the event gave the microphone to Andrea’s father so he could answer Jomar’s question. The imposing figure thanked Jomar for waiting for Andrea to reach the legal age but said that his daughter is the only one that could answer the boy’s question.

Then the microphone was given to Andrea’s mother who said that whatever happens, she and her husband will always support their daughter. Fueled by courage, Jomar turned to his beautiful best friend and asked if Andrea could do him the honor of being his girlfriend. And she said “Yes!”
