Kapuso comedian-singer-impersonator Michael V, took a shot at Ex Battalion's (ExB) song by spoofing the controversial music video "Hayaan mo sila".
The parody performance titled “Gayahin Mo Sila” as performed by made-up artists “Copy Cats” and “Class B Tayo” was aired on GMA-7’s Bubble Gang last March 9.
The chorus goes:
“Viral video nanaman, ang bilis sumikat n’yan
Pwede mong pagkakitaan dapat mautak ka lang
Ang problema sa orig ay iisipin pa, gayahin mo sila mas madaling mangopya
Para patunayan ko manggagaya lang ako
pero bukas lang magugulat ka mas sikat na to
kaya wag nang um-effort pa
kaya wag nang um-effort pa”
The clips of the parody music video quickly went viral over the weekend.
According to earlier reports, the heavily criticized song by Ex Battalion was subjected to copyright issues which reported that the rappers allegedly plagiarized Diamond Style's "One Kiss" beat used in Justin Bieber and DJ Khaled's "I'm the One".
However, the Filipino hip-hop group denied the accusations and explained that they paid for the copyright but the video has been taken down after the music video exceeded the views limit.
