Isang Taxi Driver tumangging isakay ang isang PWD, Raffy Tulfo natiyempuhan at sinabon ang Taxi Driver!

Raffy Tulfo is truly a public servant in and out of the studio. Even though the 58-year-old host is off-duty from his show, he still won’t pass up the opportunity to correct unjust situations if he can. One example of this is when the host encountered a choosy taxi driver who refused service to a passenger.

Although the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has been fiercely campaigning against taxi drivers who refuse to give their service, many hard-headed drivers are still widespread these days. A choosy taxi driver was put in his right place when he was caught in the act by none other than Raffy Tulfo himself.

While the host was on his way to his studio, his attention was caught by a disabled elderly woman who was trying to hail a cab. Enduring the scorching heat of the noontime sun, the disabled woman patiently waited for a taxi by the side of the road.

Soon enough, a taxi stopped but after talking to the woman, the driver refused to let her in. It so happened that Raffy Tulfo was also on his way to his studio nearby when he caught wind of the incident. The choosy taxi driver was about to speed off when the host stopped him.

After briefly talking to the driver, the host was able to persuade him to give the elderly passenger a ride. In the end, Raffy made sure that the driver will not take advantage of the passenger. He himself even paid the fare out of his own pocket.

The whole incident was caught on cam. Words about Raffy’s kind gesture spread on social media when his video went viral online. Many people commended the host for being a dedicated public servant anytime, anywhere. Hats off to you, sir!
